Belagavi: After former MLA Abhay Patil claimed at a press conference in Belagavi today that cases of corruption filed against him in ACB and Lokayukta were quashed by the High Court, complainant Sujit Mulgud has clarified that the statement given by Abhay Patil in respect of the corruption case in writ petition (no.104165/2017 GM-RES) on the file of High Court Dharwad Bench is “improper and incorrect.”

If necessary affidavit is filed by Mulgund, then the special court of Belagavi can pass the necessary order. So the needle of prosecuting Abhay Patil is still alive, Mr Mulgund adds.
