Belagavi: As CM Kumaraswamy announced about bifurcation of Vishvesvarayya Technological University, by affiliating the south region technological institutions to his home district Hassan, Kannada organisations started protest from Sunday which would be continued till the decision was not roll back. At a news conference on Sunday, Kannada activists condemned Kumaraswamy for his decision of taking the third office to south from Belagavi. Belagavites, including the people of north Karnataka had a great attitude, regard and affection on him as he had announced of constructing Suvarna Vidhan Soudha and conducting World Kannada meet here, when he was the chief minister of the state. He too had announced keeping the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha active throughout the year by shifting a few important ministries. However, instead, he taking out departments from Belagavi.

Kumaraswamy, after assuming CM for the second time, had told that why should he care for nor north Karnataka where his party was not voted uncover his wicked step mother treatment to the region. He should remember that his party would never seen in the map of north Karnataka if he kept continued his enmity toward this part of the state.

Ashok Chandaragi, former mayor Siddangouda Patil and other Kannada leaders addressed the news conference.
