Belagavi: The State Intelligence department which is in the hands of Chief Minister Kumaraswamy has failed totally to access the movement of the dissidents which landed the coalition government into great trouble.

Not even CM Kumaraswamy, Devegowda, Government Coordinator Siddaramaiah, KPCC President Dinesh Gundurao expected the drastic secret step by the legislators of their government. All these leaders were relaxing thinking that the government would remain safe even if three more suspected rebellion MLAs, apart from Ramesh Jarkiholi and Anand Singh resigns. Thinking that the rebels never reach the “Target-15” to bring down the government, CM Kumaraswamy continued his foreign tour. However, the ‘Bomb’ which the dissidents’ group led by Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi shocked the government, including Devegowda.

The Intelligence department had told Kumaraswamy that the number of dissidents would not cross 5 and it also informed that the number would go by 3 more if senior leader Ramalinga Reddy was not pacified. Ramalinga Reddy the former Transport Minister resigned as he as not included in the cabinet.
